Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars, a tangerine glass banjo vase, H. 32.5cm, etched to base I. L. E. A. G463G. It is probable this lot formed part of the Inner London Education Authority travelling exhibition, circulated to secondary schools between 1951 & 1977 to promote 'good design'.
